Community Youth Champions League

FREE Community Youth Champions League Programme for young people from Newry City area to get involved in starting next month.

This programme is for young people aged between 12 and 14 years of age (both boys and girls) and will involve weekly indoor 5 a side matches, fun games and mental health awareness educational workshops. It will take place every Thursday night in Bosco Youth Centre starting 26th September and finishing with a presentation night on 21st November. There also will be a launch night and a finals night which will be held at Newry Leisure Centre. Everyone will participate in finals night.

Lots of prizes on offer for those young people involved from Full sized replica champions league trophy to a day trip to dublin to watch Republic of Ireland play at the aviva stadium and lots more.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:

There are three ways in which young people can get involved in this programme:

  • 1. If you are a community association / youth group / sports club and want to enter a team simply complete a registration form and return it before closing date
  • 2. If young people and their friends want to enter a team but are not linked to a community association / youth group / sports club simply complete the registration form and we can allocate them a coach from the respect project.
  • 3. If a young person is interested in getting involved in this programme but are not part of a community association / youth group / sports club thats no problem. Just get them to complete the attached registration form and we will get them allocated on a team along with a Respect leader as your coach.
